What we believe:

The ministry, teachings, philosophy and activities of Kingdom Harvest International Church and all of it’s ministries, always will be based on and consistent with the following beliefs:

  • The Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant and only infallible Word of God. (II Tim 3:16; II Peter 1:21)

  • There is one God, eternally existent and manifested in three persons; co-equal in power and purpose; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7; Matt 28:19; Luke 3:22; I Tim 1:17)

  • Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary.  He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering his blood as atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in him. Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead.  He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as intercessor. (Matt 1:23; 28:6; Luke 1:31,35; 3:22; John 3:16, 19:41-42, 20:1; Heb 4:14; 7:25)

  • Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord's Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it. (Rom 6:3-4; Col 3:1; Mt 26:26-28; I Cor 11:26)

  • All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.  The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. (Gen 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Ps 51:5; Eccl 7:29; John 6:44, 14:6; Acts 4:12; Rom 2:23, 5:12-21; 1 Cor 2:14; Heb 9:22)

  • Holiness & Sanctification is God’s standard of living for His people. Sanctification occurs in the new birth, and continues through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit.  (John 17:17; Heb 12:14, 13:12; 1 Cor 6:11; Eph 5:26; I Thess 4:7; Rom 6:22)

  • The Holy Spirit, affirmed by the gifts of the spirit, is essential to Christian living and is given to all believers who ask for it. (Acts 1:8; 2:2-4; 38-39; Luke 11:10; I Cor 12:4-10)

  • The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believer’s prayer. (Is 53:5; I pet 2:24; John 16:23; James 5:14-15)

  • The personal, imminent second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; 1 Thess 4:13-18).

  • There will be a resurrection of the dead to either eternal life with Jesus for the saved, or eternal damnation in hell for the unbelieving lost. (Rev 21:7-8; Math 13:30, 40-43; I Thess 4:16-17)

"Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and been scripturally baptized, and being in agreement with Kingdom Harvest International Church’s statements, strategy, and structure, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with this Church family. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

1. I WILL PROTECT THE UNITY OF MY CHURCH

...By acting in love toward other believers
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus," Rom 15:5
"Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart." 1 Peter 1:22
"Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble." 1 Peter 3:8

...By refusing to gossip
"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Eph 4:29

...By following the leaders
"Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you." Heb 13:17

2. I WILL SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MY CHURCH

...By praying for its growth
"We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers." 1 Thess 1:2
"I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now" Phil 1:4,5

...By inviting the unchurched to attend
"Then the master told his servant, `Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full'" Luke 14:23

...By warmly welcoming those who visit
"Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God." Rom 15:7

3. I WILL SERVE THE MINISTRY OF MY CHURCH

...By discovering my gifts and talents
"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10

...By being equipped to serve by my pastors
"It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up" Eph 4:11-12

...By developing a servants heart
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus...[who] made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant" Phil 2:3-5,7

4. I WILL SUPPORT THE TESTIMONY OF MY CHURCH

...By attending faithfully
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Heb 10:25

...By living a godly life
"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ." Phil 1:27a
"As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do" 1 Peter 1:14-16

...By giving regularly
"A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD." Lev 27:30
"On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made." 1 Cor 16:2
